From Spokane  |  From Coeur d'Alene  |  From Spokane South Hill

From downtown Spokane (East Bound I-90) to The Beachcomber: 

  1. Take I-90 E toward COEUR D' ALENE. (travel 29.57 miles) 

  2. Take the I-90-BR/NORTHWEST BLVD. Exit # 11 toward CITY CENTER. (travel 0.29 miles)

  3. Turn RIGHT onto NORTHWEST BLVD/I-90 BR. (travel 0.83 miles)

  4. Take the US-95 ramp toward PLUMMER/MOSCOW. (travel 0.14 miles)

  5. Turn RIGHT onto US-95. (travel 17.3 miles) After about 16.5 mi, you’ll pass Elder Rd/ Indian Country Smokehouse and firework stand on the right.  Approximately 0.8 mi past Elder Rd, watch for green “Sun Up Bay/ Windy Bay” sign. There is currently road construction here look for detour signs to Sun Up Bay Rd

  6. Turn LEFT on Sun Up Bay Rd (travel 1.1 miles)

  7. At the Y in the road, stay LEFT onto Bennion Rd (travel 2.2 miles)

  8. Continue STRAIGHT when you come to the Ben Point Rd entrance sign (travel 1 mile).  Pass the blue “Hedmark Landing/Old Cabin Rd/Adams Rd” sign,  pass a row of mailboxes on the RIGHT and Watson Rd on the LEFT.

  9. Our house is the third house on the RIGHT past the row of mailboxes. If you encounter two gates across the road, you have gone to far.

  10. Park in the turn out to the right just before the road-gates.  The stairs to the house are near the power pole on the right side of the road.  There is a  “Dicksons” sign attached to the power pole.


From Coeur d'Alene (West Bound I-90) to The Beachcomber: 

  1. Take the US-95 exit- Exit #12 toward SANDPOINT/MOSCOW. (travel 0.2 miles) 

  2. Turn LEFT onto US-95. (travel 0.7 miles)

  3. Turn RIGHT onto W WALNUT AVE/US-95. Continue to follow US-95.(travel 17.3 miles) After about 16.5 mi, you’ll pass Elder Rd/ Indian Country Smokehouse and firework stand on the right.  Approximately 0.8 mi past Elder Rd, watch for green “Sun Up Bay/ Windy Bay” sign. From Spokane South Hill to The Beachcomber: 

  1. From S REGAL ST. Turn LEFT onto E PALOUSE HWY. (travel 11.43 miles)

  2. Turn RIGHT onto WA-27. (travel 3.59 miles)

  3. Turn LEFT onto ELDER RD. (travel 10.21 miles)

  4. Turn RIGHT onto US-95. (travel 0.8 miles) Watch for green “Sun Up Bay/ Windy Bay” sign. There is currently road construction here look for detour signs to Sun Up Bay Rd
